A painting of Vincent van Gogh was stolen inside the Dutch museum, which is currently closed due to a coronavirus pandemic. The Singer Lauren Museum, on the outskirts of Amsterdam, said the 1884 painting "The Nuenen Parish Garden in the Spring" was stolen during a robbery at night.
The painting was borrowed from the Groninger Museum in the town of Groningen in the Netherlands.
?It's terrible for the Groninger Museum, it's terrible for the Singer Museum. But above all it is terrifying for all of us, because art is there to be seen and shared with everyone, to bring us pleasure. ?
