Unfortunately, the avoidance of the crowds has led some families to not properly relocate to their last home. Burial rituals are minimalist and participation is limited.
According to the director of the Funeral Services Agency at the Municipality of Tirana, Rajmonda Shino, the death toll is similar to that of a year ago. The procedure has not changed. The family of the deceased makes a request to the agency which deals with the security of the place and is followed by a minimalist ceremony that during this period avoids all rites and traditions.
Throughout the chain of procedure, family members are reminded not to lend a hand and maintain distance from other persons. The number of persons permitted to bury is also very low. Panorama writes that ceremonies were held with four people.
In terms of celebrations, only witnesses are allowed to marry these days.
