Duffy does not clarify when the event happened, but explains that he decided to speak publicly after contacting a reporter. "He was kind and I felt great when I spoke ... After a few weeks I will publish an interview. If you have questions, I want to answer them there if I can.
The singer adds: ?Maybe you wonder why I didn't use my voice to express the pain I was feeling? I didn't want to show the world the sadness in my eyes.
