Can we help this family with three paralyzed children together?

For Joy, Arlind and Adin every day is the same. From their wheelchairs, where they have been staying for years, they wait every day in the hope that someone will be able to help them; to give them the opportunity, like their brother Arditi, to go to school.

The Idrizi family lives in the village of Sukth in Durres, in a rented house that is in even worse conditions after the earthquake. Rescue, the head of the family, tries to work when he finds a job, but also has to stay home, as it is very difficult for Lirie to care for her three children and her mother-in-law, who has one arm paralyzed.

?[It is] very difficult to live with three sick children on rent. They need a doctor, for everything; for pampers, for clothes. When you have no money to buy a suit, nothing. There is one, but there are three and it is very difficult.

They were not standing like all other children. Then this great man remained, no longer walking. My second son was born at that time. A year has gone by well in the district as well. After a year, he has remained. We took them for controls, they say they were late in development. But so far they have not walked at all. The older guy is worse than the others because he doesn't move at all. It is even more asthma, as the house is very humid.

I have to buy her medication every month, I have to take her to the hospital often. Because as the seasons change, he becomes ill and his breath becomes blocked. I didn't take them for therapy, as I didn't have the opportunity, it's expensive. Give them to eat or pay rent. I didn't have the opportunity, but I was taking them daily with my soul. Because they like to stay with children, to learn to write, to read. At least do it for themselves so they don't need someone to lower or hold them. That I am today and not exactly. I have a very bad spine because I keep them on weight. I am very tired. Looking for a home, but how to do it. I can't afford to make them home. ?

Every day as their brother Arditi goes to school, the three children dream that they too go with him. Although sadness often catches on, they still manage to have that innocent childish smile.

?-You know how to read? Yes. -What do you read? Letters. A B C. -Do you like to learn? More. Even Adi likes to go to school, with Ardit and me. I love to read fairy-tale books, get up and play ball. -What do you do all day? Hang on, I do nothing. Just stay. -You have a friend? Yes. I have a friend Ardit. -What will you do when you grow up? Doctor, visit others and see what they have. -Why do you pray to God? I beg for a new home and walk. "

Freedom seeks support to control the three children, as there is still hope that one day they will be able to walk. But it is impossible to provide the boys with the treatments they may need. The family lives in difficult economic conditions and the house they rented has suffered a lot after the November 26 earthquake. Risking the family's life every day.

"They haven't had a happy day. No day. There are no happy days that they are going to school or doing something different. They only get out of bed and into a wheelchair. We run them through the alleys and that's their turn. They go nowhere. They have two carriages because one is broken and one of the boys holds it in their arms. Even these pardons are. They want to eat, drink, the opportunities are not exactly what they want. It is too hard. We don't even have money to buy trees.

Sorry we even have the stove, we couldn't afford to buy it. The bath is not exactly to meet the conditions for them. It is small. [To wash] them down to the ground, so wash them. The bedroom is narrow, we have two beds. And we sleep from two people that the kids are sick and I have to have them all in the room.

And that night when the quake hit we were asleep with the kids and I couldn't get them out. They are very scared and they are still scared. They are very dramatized by the earthquake, the house is old. It's all falling apart. It is not a home for the sick to live. From moment to moment you say it's collapsing. We are sleeping in fear. ?

As Freedom calls for help with the despair of a mother, Arlindi returns with an inspiring hope, convinced that Albanians will help her.

?I hope someone will help me do something for these kids. Have a check on whether or not they can walk so that our hopes are not dashed. Albanians will help us, I trust. ?

The Idrizi family needs help as soon as possible and together we can do it! If you would like to contribute some, you can find the details in this post:
