Tourism is one of the most successful growing sectors in recent years in Albania, and as such it is necessary to continuously promote the beauties and characteristics that make Albania unique and pleasing to visit by tourists. inside Albania, but also by foreign tourists, who can get to know and visit our country.

With the sole aim of promoting Albania, the postcard competition "Albania, The Beautiful" was launched to serve as a window, in which the stunning beauties of our country abound.

This competition had several features that made it unique in its kind.

The first was that the promotion of "Beautiful Albania" was made with new, attractive, fascinating, secret or previously unknown aspects, unlike the images that have circulated so far.

Equally special in this competition was that the promotion was done by architects, designers, photographers, painters, students, students, professionals who live in Albania every day.

It should also be mentioned that all the creative proposals for Beautiful Albania were crystallized into one of the most classical tourist promotion tools, such as Postcards.

The competition took place in several stages. Initially all creatives were called to be part of the competition, showing us through their EYE, SENSITIVITY and CREATIVE ALBANIAN FITTING on a postcard.

The competition proposals were truly captivating, with over 150 of them, with a host of messages, ideas, designs and techniques from graphic art to photography, painting, handicrafts and more.

Everyone brought their own unique ideas. Someone with a painting of his city, somebody else brought a little bit of scent, another promotional slogan "Who wants to visit, somebody through handwork brought" Sea Waves "into a unique postcard, someone reflected through a photo "Love ... Let's get lost in the Mediterranean", one contestant worked on the collage with Albanian symbols, where one could not miss the typical gown, another through craft, someone suggested: "Watch more sunsets that netflix" and many more other creative.

Each participant gave his or her own, telling us what a beautiful Albania he is.

The postcards were from all over Albania, from Thethi, Dibra and Shkodra to Vlora and Saranda.

All the creative proposals were evaluated by a professional jury, which selected the best 16 based on their idea, creativity and quality of work.

These postcards will be distributed throughout the MANIACARD network, in the main cities of Albania, to be recognized and attracted by the public, making them the most unique souvenirs that express the sentiment and view of the citizens about the beauties of their country and which are fixed. in the minds of all who see them.

The next stage of the competition was the discovery of the top 16 postcards. A unique event of its kind, in the form of an open-air exhibition, featured the best postcards for the first time. The event was attended by characters from the field of art, culture, tourism, who contribute every day to the promotion of Albania through their work, participating competitors, travel agencies, media etc.

This event brought another innovation after the guests themselves selected the winning postcard with the "Public Choice" Award, directly from the event.

The winning poster, which grabbed the largest number of votes from attendees, was that of Altin Serani, with a truly stunning photo of beautiful Zvernec.

This poster will be displayed at tourist information points in different cities of the country to present to all tourists.

All postcard proposals received will be digitally tailored to maniacard.com so that they can be sent online by anyone.

The project "Albania, The Beautiful" was supported by the Ministry of Tourism and the Environment and was realized with the design, organization and conception of MANIACARD, a marketing agency which has been active in designing, advertising, communication and distribution for over 11 years. promotional messages through 15x10cm postcards in the most frequented places in the country and free to the public.
