The richest man in the country has all the right in the world to give us money. So be attentive. Samir Mane gave a brief interview on "Holidays on Top" from his latest investment, Nazar Beach, part of the Green Coast Resort in Palasa.
So what is the philosophy of money according to Samir Manes?
?Money has come by chance. Naturally even with work, it has come gradually. Since the sale of televisions in 1981, today I have 5500 employees, 40% overseas, businesses in eight different countries of the world. The philosophy of money is not about how much I earn, but how well I serve people and how much fun I feel when people talk about what I develop.
Of course my businesses have a lot to do with mass, with consumption. People enjoy when they shop at TEG, when they shop at QTU, they enjoy when they buy products and food at Spar. I'm glad when people talk about how beautiful it was in Nazar, how beautiful it was on the Green Coast and so on.
Money is important. I am not one of those who say that money is not worth it, but when it comes to the stage I am in, it is important that it creates value for people and that I am very proud of. "
Let's break this down a bit because most (read: all) of the commenters under the video don't understand how wealth or business works. Each venture has five basic pillars.
First, creating value, discovering what people need and then fulfilling that need. Second, marketing, attracting attention and building demand for the value created. Third, sales, turning potential customers into real customers. Fourth, the responsibility consisting of delivering on promised value and customer satisfaction. Fifth, financing, raising the money needed to start this cycle all over again.
Manes philosophy is at the forefront of every business because that's where everything starts. He finds what people need, without even knowing what he needs and provides. The goal is not monetary profit per se, but value creation, which is followed by enrichment.
