Michael Jackson's family has publicly denied allegations that Michael Jackson has sexually abused with children after the release of the documentary "Leaving Neverland" by HBO. However in 1993, singer's sister, LaToya, showed the opposite.
After the scandal of "Leaving Neverland," a LaToya interview reappeared again. At a press conference, she decides that Michael is pedophile.
"If I remain silent, it means that I feel the blame and humiliation that children experience and I think it's wrong. Stop a minute and think for a bit and tell me. Which 35-year-old man would take a little boy and stay with him for 30 days? Who would take a boy and stay with him for 5 days in the room, never go out? How many of you would you take a little child and do that? I love my brother, but that's wrong. I do not want to see children injured, "she says in the video aired at that time by MTV.
Then it goes on:
"This is the first time I talk about it, though I never wanted to talk. But I think that's a sad thing, because I'm a victim myself and I know what they feel. My father has sexually excited me. I do not want innocent young children to be affected by such actions. I love Michael very much, but I'm sorry for the kids because they do not have a normal life. Do not have."
At the time of this statement, LaToya was expelled from the family after being charged with fraud. In that period, Michael faced charges of child abuse by 13-year-old Jordan Chandler's family. Although Jackson denied the charges, the case was resolved out of court for a $ 20m sum.
Years later. LaToya withdrew her statement saying her husband Jack Gordon had convinced her to lie to Michael.
"Leaving Neverland" is a documentary based on Wade Robson and James Safechuck interviews, who claim that Michael Jackson has sexually abused with them when they were children. The documentary is a co-production by British Channel 4 Channel and Home Box Office (HBO). For the first time, he appeared at the Sundance Film Festival on January 25, 2019. Dan Reed is the director and producer.
(Neverland Valley Ranch, recently named Sycamore Valley Ranch, is Michael's home in Santa Barbara County, California. It was named Neverland as the singer was inspired in 1988 by the legendary island of Peter Pan; island Kurrkund.)
