Parashqevi Simaku celebrated her 59th birthday yesterday, which, according to her, seems to have never been happier.
In a status on her personal Facebook, Parashqevia expresses that on this day, her hopes and thoughts are directed only towards her son, Luke:
"Today, on my 59th birthday, my heart is filled with longing for you. Every mother when she wakes up on the morning of her birthday dreams of her child hugging her and saying 'Happy birthday, mom!'"
The painful message continues with the fact that Parashqevië's son probably doesn't even know when his mother celebrates her birthday:
"How I wish I could hear this from you... But I know you don't even know when my birthday is, and that hurts me deeply."
The artist continued to express her unwavering love for her son, which will remain so despite the fact that the two are still far apart:
"However, my heart always beats with you, just like when you were in my womb, even today in every breath of my life. Even though we are far apart, you are always my anchor, my light and my hope. I love you endlessly, Luke!"
The last meeting between the two, and the first after a very long time apart, occurred 8 months ago, when Parashqevië's son, accompanied by his father and her ex-husband, visited the artist in New York, USA.
