On "The Dalina Show", Andale Media , the topic of self-transformation after the age of 40 was recently addressed. Dalina Buzi, among other things, said that part of this transformation was knowing or daring to set your limits or boundaries. "I find it a very difficult process," said Dalina.
Then, she told an incident that happened to singer Adelina Ismaili's husband, Val Krasniqi, which Dalina said had remained a life lesson:
"I'll never forget it, I was in the maternity ward, giving birth. I was doing a cover, I had Anabel magazine and it was Adelina Ismail's cover. I don't know what happened, an incident with one of my staff, about which Adelina's husband was very irritated and he called me in the maternity ward."
What happened next may seem inhumane, but Dalina not only does not "blame" Adelina's husband, but expresses a kind of gratitude for the lesson he gave her for the reminder of the boundaries that each of us should have:
"I had just given birth. He wrote to me and I wrote back. He was very nervous. I wrote back and said, 'Please, how long have I been born?' 'It's your problem,' he said, 'for picking up [the phone].' There wasn't much of a lecture right away, but I always think about it because I felt very... like I humiliated myself."
And finally, Dalina concluded:
"The fact that the man didn't say 'I'm sorry', but 'You chose to pick up the phone yourself'... I continued to deal with this and I remember, I fired the staff member who caused this problem. I fired her in the maternity ward after giving birth. But I always remember her and I say 'Look, look how she's doing it' and you get to an age where you can't take it anymore."
