Prince Harry returned to England unaccompanied by Meghan, for the first time in a year, to attend the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip. The Duchess, expecting her second baby, followed the doctor's advice and stayed in California.
Beyond the main reason, which related to her and the baby’s health, Markle's friends say the princess "did not want to be the center of attention" there.
"Meghan said the main concern for Harry remains. She left it to him to attend her funeral. Besides, the duke seemed to think of nothing else during this period but to see the royal family as a whole. He left them behind. "Problems and she thinks it's time to be united. According to her, Prince Philip would have liked that, so Meghan is ready to forgive."
The same source says that Meghan's mother, Doria did not agree for her to travel, thinking that stress is the last thing she needs.
Many have alluded to whether her absence from the funeral ceremony will affect her relationship with the queen, but no. Sources close to her say that the queen understands and would not want to risk herself or the baby.
