Britney Spears spoke openly about family and feelings of loneliness in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
“As humans, what we want most is to feel connected to each other and never feel alone... for those in your family who have told you that 'helping' means isolating you and making you feel completely excluded... they were wrong.”

Further, she once again remembered the past, and what her family had put her through, and said she was lucky to be still alive.
"As humans we can forgive, but we never forget. The desire for contact is always important!!! I am so lucky to still be alive, considering the way my family once treated me, and now I am afraid of them. It is strange how God works in mysterious ways. My friends, what do you think He is saying today??? Because, to be perfectly honest with you, no matter what He says, they will never take responsibility for what they did."

Britney Spears has previously spoken out about her difficult relationship with her family, especially her father, who was her legal guardian until five years ago. Since 2008, he had complete control over her life, decisions, and any money she earned. All of this came to an end in 2021, when a lawsuit between the two resulted in her father's rights being taken away.

"I lied and told the world that I was fine and happy... I'm not happy. I can't sleep. I'm depressed. I cry every day," she said during the trial.
