Winter is gone, but summer is not sparing us either! Summer 2025 is expected to be hot and air conditioning has become a vital necessity. But, since we are giving the cold air "full power", the question arises: At what temperature should we set the air conditioning so that we do not get sick, but also so that our electricity bill does not reach many digits?
Let's clarify one thing:
The "ideal" temperature is like coffee - some like it sweet, some like it strong. So it really depends on:
- What kind of climate do you have where you live?
- How cold do you prefer the environment?
- How important is it to you to save money?
But! There is a golden rule that experts give us and that applies to most people. The temperature that "saved" the body and the pocket: 25-27°C
This is the safe zone. So, instead of setting it to 18°C ??like you're in an alpine village, start with 26°C and see how you feel. If you're not comfortable at 26°C, lower the temperature by 1 degree every 15-20 minutes. This gives your body time to adjust and you don't go from "fire" to "ice" in 5 minutes.
Why does this method work?
- Helps you avoid getting sick from sudden temperature changes
- Saves energy
- Is good for the environment (even the planet needs some love, okay?)
In short: Comfort comes with balance. Not too cold, not too hot - like life itself.
