In her speech, the minister said (via A2 News):
“The minimum basic salary at the national level, mandatory to be applied by every legal or natural person, local or foreign, is proposed to be 30,000 ALL per month from 26,000 ALL per month that is set by DCM no. 809 dated 26.12. 2018, increasing by 15.4%, adding that with this we aim to maintain the standard of living for employees in both the private and budget sectors. "
Other details have not been made public, but the decision is expected to take effect in 2021.
