Rumors about the baby's gender began months ago. During the premiere of the film "Smurfs" in Brussels, Rocky was seen holding a Smurfette toy, hinting that it was a girl on the way.
Even, in a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, when asked the question: "Is this the girl you've been waiting for?", Rocky replied with a smile: "Yes, she is."
In an interview with Elle, the rapper confessed that he had always wanted to be a dad:
"I hope it's a girl. We're praying for a girl. The first time we wanted to know the gender, the second time we didn't. This time we just wanted to find out when the time came. And I feel like it's going to be a girl. This pregnancy is very different from the first two."
