
Yesterday (March 28th) marked the start of mass vaccination in the country. According to the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, not only was the desired target achieved (10,000 vaccinated), but expectations were exceeded by vaccinating about 11,487 people.
Among other things, she said that the vaccination process will be intensified throughout the country to vaccinate the groups defined according to the plan as soon as possible.
"We will continue throughout this period with the intensification of the vaccination process, continuing the vaccination of teachers, pedagogues, educators of kindergartens and nurseries. We will also continue with the mass vaccination of the age group +70 years, either in health centers, or in these concentrated vaccination points ", she said.
Manastirliu also called on the elderly to contact their family doctor and further, the latter will guide them on the date, time and place of vaccination.
"The family doctor will inform you about the date, place and time of the vaccination. "It is only the family doctor who has the electronic register and through the electronic register issues the entire list of persons who belong to the designated bandages, according to the age group for vaccination."
