Luiza Gega, in an interview for TV Klan, openly expressed her criticism of the flag that was waved by the Albanian team at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, which are taking place in Paris. During the interview with journalist Besard Jacaj, she said that she would not have accepted the parade with that flag, as it was a Chinese imitation and the eagle was not real.
"What I didn't like is that I noticed that our flag was not right, the eagle was not the real eagle, so it was the Chinese imitation and I didn't like that, because I think I would have never accepted it anyway. We must be very careful when it comes to the flag, because this is the reason why we go there, to present the nationality we come from, the colors of the flag, etc., said Luiza.

Further, she said that she has no idea if this mistake was made by the Olympic Committee or the organizers: "I just noticed it from social networks and saw... because I know very well what an eagle is like, either in its claws or in its beak, either at the tail. If I had been the flag bearer, I would never have accepted to parade with a flag that is not the right one", concluded the athlete.
We remind you that 8 competitors participate in the Olympic Games and Luiza Gega has her competition on August 4.
