Rescue teams in Texas are continuing to search through destroyed riverbanks and rubble in an attempt to find survivors or bodies after flash floods hit the region on Friday, killing at least 51 people, including 15 children.
A day and a half after the disaster, authorities have yet to confirm the exact number of missing people, except for 27 children missing from the Christian summer camp “Camp Mystic.” Most of the victims were found near this area.
The Guadalupe River rose more than eight meters in just 45 minutes, destroying homes, campsites and vehicles.

Officials in Saxony described the situation as very dangerous.

Elon Musk has announced the creation of a new political party in the United States, just weeks after a public clash with former President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump.
Through his social network X, Musk said on Saturday that he had founded a new party called the "America Party", with the aim, according to him, of returning "lost freedom" to citizens.
He stated that this party will challenge the traditional American two-party system, consisting of Republicans and Democrats. It is not yet clear whether the party has been officially registered with electoral authorities, but Musk said that it will start its activity next year.
