Qeparoi is part of the Albanian Riviera located in the municipality of Himara, Vlora. The name is thought to come from the Greek word "kipos" which means garden. This village remains one of the most beautiful destinations in Albania that should be visited at least once in a lifetime.
Qeparo is a fantastic destination as it is a perfect combination of sea and mountain. The village is not as "messy" as Dhërmiu, but that doesn't mean it's not interesting.
Some of the tourist attractions you can visit are the St. Demetrius Monastery in the center of the village, why explore the old village, which is a village made up of narrow cobbled alleys and abandoned stone houses. The village is located on top of the mountain, so take with you all the necessary tools (water, sun protection, SPF, food, dried fruit). The road will be tiring, but the view is fantastic.
