Starting tomorrow (Monday, May 11), the Ministry of Health and Social Protection allows the opening of dental clinics, certainly under strict security measures. Dentist Stela Panteqi told ABC News that the following will be done:
- Preliminary schedules will be set with patients, in order to avoid queues;
- Disinfection will be applied as before, but additional protective clothing will be added;
- Some of the outfits are: hoods for the head and legs, clothing for the whole body;
- Clinics will be equipped with temperature maintenance equipment.
Protective clothing will be provided by dentists, an added cost. Masks cost 400-500 lek, footwear 500-700, head coats 700 lek, etc. Based on this, she said that the cost will also be reflected in patients. "We need to be aware that this is an additional cost that is added to dental services," said Panteqi.
