Surprise! Katy Perry is pregnant. The singer revealed the happy news in the video clip of the new song, "Never Worn White," released just hours ago.
This will be Katy's first baby, and the second baby for her fiancé, Orlando Blooom, who has a 9-year-old son named Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
The song speaks of the fear of dedication, but also of the willingness to live happily ever after. The video ends with Katy caressing the swollen belly, wearing a white dress. The singer even turns to the side to make it clear she is pregnant.
After the song was released, she took to Instagram Live to confirm her pregnancy and said "it's the biggest secret she's had to keep."
The baby will come to life this summer.
"A lot of things are going to happen this summer. It will be born in the first sense of the word, but also figuratively bring to life something you look forward to, ?she said, referring to the upcoming album.
