Another celebrity couple in crisis? According to sources for Page Six, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are nearing the end of their relationship, with one of them even stating emphatically:
"It's over. They're waiting for her tour to end before they make the split official."
Neither Katy nor Orlando have publicly commented on the status of their relationship, but the rumors come after previous reports that spoke of tension in the couple, mainly due to Katy's latest album, "143."
A source told People magazine:
"Katy felt very disappointed by the reception given to the album. This has stressed her out a lot. Orlando has been understanding, but it has still created tension."
Another source added:
"She also felt disappointed by some of the comments about the tour performances. This has strained their relationship."
For those who don't remember, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have split before, in 2017, but got back together shortly after. In fact, in an interview with People last year, the singer revealed:
“When we fight, we fight a lot, but then we cool down just as quickly. It’s like, ‘Blah blah blah, I love you. Okay, let’s move on.’ We’re fire, fire, fire. Our daughter sees all of that. Orlando is like a deep thinker. We both have two sides: the best side of ourselves and the material, egocentric side. When the ego takes over, it’s a problem. But when we keep it in check, we’re something else entirely.”
Drama, love, ego, and a music tour that could be the final blow to the couple's marriage. Will this be the final breakup or just another pause in their "fire and ice" style? Only time will tell.
