The Madame Tussauds Museum in London has announced that it will remove the statues of Duchess and Duchess of Wax from Sussex's special royal family. There were certainly strong reactions.
The museum's decision came after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced they would step down from royal duties and demanded financial independence.
"Along with the rest of the world, we too are responding to the startling news that the Duchess and Duchess of Sussex will be withdrawing from the kingdom," said Steve Davies, general manager of Madame Tussauds in London.
"From today, the wax statues of Meghan and Harry will no longer appear in the royal family corner," Davies added.
Madame Tussauds said they would be separated from the family to reflect "the new progressive role within the kingdom".
The statues located at Madame Tussauds in New York will also go away.
Sussex wax and duchess statues were unveiled last year and cost from $ 195,000 each.
There were many who reacted angrily to the decisions in question. "Seriously? 24 hours have not passed. They are still royal, they will just live differently, ?many comments online read. While others have ironic that it is a way for Madame Tussauds to get her attention behind Nicki Minaj's scandalous statue .
