M3GAN - is the most famous "horror" doll at the moment, so we can safely call it the new "Annabelle".
The film follows Cady (Violet McGraë), a young girl who has recently lost her parents in a toy-related car accident.
She is taken in by her aunt, Gemma (played by Allison Williams), a brilliant inventor who is reluctant to take on the role of nanny. To ease Cady's pain—and offload the burden of parenting onto someone/something else—Gemma finally completes the AI-powered robot M3GAN. M3GAN stands for Model 3 Generative Android, played by Amie Donald and voiced by Jenna Davis.
M3GAN's prime directive is: Protect Cady!
From here, things take an eerie and mysterious turn.
