Halsey says her record label has conditioned the use of TikTok on her next musical creation! Through a new video, also posted on TikTok, the singer says that her representative company, "is holding hostage" her new song until she devises a moment to go viral on TikTok.
"Practically I have a song that I love very much and I want to release it as soon as possible, but my label does not allow me. I have been part of this industry for 8 years and now they tell me that I can not publish anything "if I do not do something that spreads fast on TikTok. Everything is being done for marketing and they are doing this to every potential artist nowadays. I just want to make music. I deserve more and I'm tired!" she says.
The artist of "Him & I" said that he did not know exactly what he had to do for TikTok, but according to them it took moments easily imitated to be used on TikTok, in order for the song to become famous within a short time.
For the song in question, which continues to be held "hostage" Halsey has been working since January this year and although it is ready, the artist must meet the primary condition of 2022: Viral moment for TikTok.
