Some people don't want to go out on the weekends, but they want to enjoy the house.
If you're one of those who feels this way, this article is for you. Simple plans that don't tire you out, but fill you up.
1. Slow morning, no alarm
There is no need to sleep until lunch. But, wake up without an alarm, prepare something warm (coffee, tea) and sit by the window.
No phone for the first hour. Write some thoughts in a journal, to “unload” troublesome thoughts. Ask yourself:
What's bothering me?
What do I feel grateful for?
How do I want this day to be?
This hour is like a sacred preparation for the day.
2. A personal reading retreat
Block out 2-3 hours just for reading, like others make time for brunch .
Put your phone on “ airplane ” mode.
Read calmly, without pressure to finish a certain number of pages. Create a “reading nest”: blankets, warm socks, something to eat that won’t leave marks on the pages.
If you're reading after a long time, start with a short book. Calmness doesn't mean passivity.
3. A micro-adventure in nature
You don't have to be an athlete to experience nature.
Take a slow walk in the park, stroll through the neighborhood, stop at a place you've always seen but never visited.
The goal is not distance, but restoring inner peace.
4. Create without sharing on social networks
Not everything needs to be posted or monetized. Do something just because you like it, maybe a weird drawing. Keep a small box of paints, paper, pencils, things that inspire you.
Set a rule: only positive comments about what you create.
“I like this color.”
“This shape seems nice to me.”
Creating without judgment is a very good form of rest.
5. Cook
Go to the market as if it were a sensory journey. You don't have to buy a lot, choose a seasonal fruit that you haven't tried before.
Then, set aside a quiet hour for simple cooking: boil some vegetables, some grains, prepare a sauce.
Put on an album you like, light a candle.
The result?
A peaceful evening and an easier week ahead.
