"Christmas Shoes" is one of the newest initiatives to help children in need. It's all about purchasing a pair of new shoes that will be donated by organizers to children facing economic problems.
Invited to Wake Up, Besmir Meçollari and Jonida Kumaraku showed that the main goal is to collect as many packs of shoes as possible to help other children in the districts, except in Tirana.
Among other things, a Facebook event is written:
"Many children in Albania do not have the opportunity to enjoy a pair of new and warm shoes! Winter has already come and we want to provide these kids with warm shoes that will make their day in beautiful school.
Along with you we want to donate 500 pairs of shoes for the most in need of children in Tirana and Albania. So if you join in donating a pair of shoes this can be the first step in the transformational journey of a child.
How can you get involved?

-Save your time as a volunteer for collecting and distributing shoes.

The latest shoe collection dates are December 15 - 16, 10:00 - 18:00 at the Pyramid, Tirana. Thanks to us a child tomorrow will mean: "I was barefoot and you fled."
