Fedez has chosen to talk about one of the most difficult periods of his life: his divorce from Chiara Ferragni. But above all, the Italian artist has focused on his relationship with his two children, Leone and Vittoria. He recounted life after the divorce and how this period has affected his relationship with his children.
This long, emotional confession came during a video that Fedez made with Italian YouTuber Gabriele Vagnato. They spent 24 hours together, for a content that went viral and reached millions of views in a short time.
Fedez admitted that the hardest part after the separation was being away from the children.
"I have certain days when I see them, but like everything in life, you get used to it. Both me and the children. I'm lucky to share time with them equally with their mother. There are many fathers who don't have this opportunity."
Unlike many celebrities, he has chosen not to hire a nanny.
"The only decision I made was not to have a nanny. My father helps me," Fedez confessed. "Which means that at 35, you still have your father always at home taking care of you."
One of the most difficult moments, Fedez said, was when he and Chiara decided to explain to their children that they were going to separate. “The children asked us why we made this decision. It's not easy to have your heart broken. But it's something you have to do. We explained everything to them and told them that even when parents separate, family always remains.”
In the conversation with Gabriele Vagnato, he also spoke openly about the life he had with Chiara Ferragni, a life that, according to him, was not his truth.
"I have aversion to the life I had before."
"It was all based on other people's perceptions of me. I don't want to play the role of the perfect man anymore, which I've played for years."
From the outside, their life seemed perfect: a luxurious villa, two beautiful children, fabulous trips. But according to Fedez, behind that image was a reality that did not represent him.
"I destroyed everything I had built. But that also has its beauty, because from the ruins, new, better things can be built."
He also commented on the rumors that have been circulating about his new romantic life. While Chiara Ferragni has been linked to businessman Alessandro Tronchetti Provera, Fedez's name has been linked to several girls, but according to him, most of them are just fiction.
"When the news comes out about me, it doesn't bother me anymore. But when I hang out with people who aren't used to this kind of attention, I see how much it hurts them. Nothing happened with Clara. We're not together," he said.
Fedez and Chiara Ferragni separated in early 2024, after a difficult period as a couple.
