Eurovision 2023: Albania qualifies for the final

Albina and the Kelmendi family qualified for the Eurovision 2023 final.

Albina and her family performed all 14 in the semi-final competition. Albina got noticed for her vocals and many people complimented her on the internet. In other comments, some appreciate the fact that the song contains Balkan motifs.

Albina was declared the winner with the song "Duje" in the 61st edition of the "Song Festival" based on public votes. She entered the history of the festival, as for the first time, a whole family competed (she sang with her parents, two sisters and brother).

For the first time, the song that would represent Albania in Eurovision 2023 was chosen only by public votes via SMS. It turned out that "Duje" was the public's favorite.
