Drake made a live concert promise this weekend while performing in Kansas City. He stopped the concert to talk to the crowd as he usually interacts. In X, a moment was shared during this concert, when one of the fans gave the rapper a letter from the front row of the concert. After opening it Drake said:
“Is your mother dead or not? Okay then. And you have this debt. Wow, that's a lot of money. You know what? I will pay for my mother's house."
The crowd cheered and cheered. Further, Drake revealed that the amount requested was $160,000.
"I will pay them from my pocket. You have them from me. May your mother rest in peace! Rest in peace, Jennifer Schumer," Drake said as he closed the letter.

This request at the concert comes after earlier last week a fan received from Drake $25,000 as a gift from a sign she was holding showing her journey with cancer. Earlier this month, the rapper donated $100,000 to another fan who had passed through cancer and asked the crowd to cheer for him during a concert in his honor.
