David Beckham says that it was love at first sight with Victoria

Let's face it, David and Victoria Beckham continue to be one of the cutest celebrity couples.

During a recent chat with People, David recalled meeting Victoria in 1997, saying it was "absolutely" a love-at-first-sight situation. "Well, of course," he said, speaking clearly: "She was a member of the Spice Girls, she was sexy and beautiful and charming."

For David, the appearance was only one side of the coin in the part of feelings and love throughout the years with his wife.

"Then I realized what a strong woman she is. So she kept surprising me over the years."

In case you're wondering how the two met, David revealed in an interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that it was a casual greeting in the football players' dressing room where Victoria had gone to watch a game. . Then, they met again by chance at another soccer match.  

"We talked for almost an hour in the players' room and she had to take the train to leave that evening. She wrote her phone number on the train ticket, which I still keep today, and that's how it all started," concludes the former footballer.

Did someone talk about insecurities and fears about love at first sight? We, no!
