The assassination of George Floyd sparked popular revolt initially in America and now around the world. For days, mass protests against racism and police violence have been taking place, which have reached unpredictable proportions in many countries.
Public figures also appear to be joining the uprising in various ways. Chrissy Teigen, has recently donated $ 200,000 as a guarantee for the arrested protesters.
Initially, through a Twitter status where he also teased President Trump, Teigen announced that he would contribute $ 100,000 to protect the needs of protesters around the country.
