Model Chrissy Teigen announced that she and her husband, John Legend, have lost their baby. The painful statement comes days after the model made her pregnancy problems public on social media .
"Going home without children. How can this be true, "she wrote on Twitter.
In an Instagram post, Chrissy stated that despite the blood transfusions, the baby was unable to get the fluids he needed.
"We are shocked and in great pain, which we have never experienced before. We were not able to stop the bleeding and give the baby the fluids he needed, despite the blood transfusions. It just wasn't enough.
We have never put the names of children until the moment they came to life. But, for some reason, we had started calling our little boy Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack tried so hard to be part of our family and will be, forever.
For our little Jack - I'm sorry that in the first moments of your life we ??ran into so many problems that we could not give you the house we needed to survive. We will always love you. "
