Chris Martin, the vocalist of Coldplay, has decided to make fun of the viral "Kiss Cam" moment that became a hit on social media.
On Saturday, during the first concert since the famous video of the Astronomers CEO and HR, Martin addressed the audience with a warning: the camera is approaching.
"We will greet some of you in public," he said in a video shared on the X platform.
"And how are we going to do that? We're going to use our cameras to put you on the giant screen. So, if you haven't done your makeup yet, do it now," he said, drawing laughter from the crowd.
It all started during Coldplay's concert on Wednesday night in Foxborough, Massachusetts, when a public camera caught Astronomer CEO Andy Byron lovingly hugging the head of Human Resources at the same company, Kristin Cabot.

As soon as they realized they were being filmed, the two quickly moved away from each other and tried to cover their faces, but it was too late. The video quickly spread on social media and went viral, racking up tens of millions of views as of Wednesday.
Following the uproar, Andy Byron resigned from his position as CEO of Astronomer. In a statement released on Saturday, the company announced his decision:
"As previously stated, Astronomer remains committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to be exemplary in conduct and responsibility and recently, this standard has not been met."
"Andy Byron has submitted his resignation and the Board of Directors has accepted it. The Board will immediately begin a search for the next CEO, while co-founder Pete DeJoy will continue to serve as interim CEO," the statement said.
