Chiara Ferragni is preparing to make a comeback. After two years of personal crises, investigations, controversy and a deliberate media silence, the Italian entrepreneur and influencer seems ready to regain control of the public narrative and this time, she will do it on her own terms.
The last few years have been among the most turbulent in Ferragni's public life. The end of her marriage to Fedez, the outbreak of the "Pandoro scandal", the incessant media noise, the investigations and then the closure of the case without criminal proceedings. Faced with all this, Chiara chose an unusual strategy for a figure like her: she withdrew - fewer public appearances, absence from red carpets, a very limited presence on social networks.
Now, however, something is changing. According to Vanity Fair, Ferragni has begun filming a new documentary for Netflix, which is expected to be released in the coming months. Not only that: in parallel, negotiations are also underway for a major television format, where Chiara will give her first interview after the court case is closed.
A carefully thought-out decision, as she herself confirmed to Corriere della Sera: "I will slowly start to speak and I will tell, without anger, what these two years have been."
Documentaries are no stranger to Ferragni. In 2019, she presented “Chiara Ferragni - Unposted” at the Venice Film Festival, which was later distributed on Prime Video. The two seasons of “The Ferragnez” were also released on the same platform.
That something was being prepared had long been understood. During a court hearing last November, journalist Domenico Marocchi stated that he had noticed an “unaccredited” camera filming Ferragni in the corridors of the Court. “In addition to the journalists and the media, some people appeared with a camera that was not accredited. Who were they? Maybe something was being filmed?”, he said.
It seems that now Chiara will not simply be the subject of the story, but will be its author, choosing what to tell, how to tell it, and when.
