There are only two things that bring Albanians together: the stadium and the zealous patriotism of the November 28-29 holidays. In these two events, magic happens and Albanians leave behind grudges to come together under the cheer: Oh, how good it is to be Albanian! The solidarity is commendable, as the magic fades as soon as the red and black flag is removed from the home balcony.
The calendar turns the page and with it the problems of the Albanians return. "Oh, how good it was to be Albanian!" is replaced by "You must leave this country", while the marathon broadcasts of the celebrations give way to the chronicles of the murders and punishments of SPAK.
As we constantly pride ourselves on the values ??and customs of the ancestors, we bring you in our form, how these traditions have been transformed today.
Albanians yesterday and today:
God bless you - We're sure you'll agree that this adage is more relevant than ever. The recent murders that have shocked the country have questioned the safety of citizens in Albania more than ever. Chain violence from criminal gangs that "eat each other's heads" to children, have shaken the foundations of the country, where in terms of security we can only wish luck to ourselves and others.
The house without children, like the night without stars - The Albanian society of 2024 failed! A child who was supposed to be the star of the family turned into the most beautiful star in the sky. Martin Cani, 14, was stabbed in the heart by his peer, killing him. More than anything, the role of the family was called into question, an institution treated as sacred in Albanian traditions, which in the 112th year of Independence "froze" the holiday.
The allegiance of the Albanian is not sold in the bazaar - Well, SPAK's investigations shed light on the opposite! Albanians who are sold and bought and justice and politics that has turned into a real market. The judges or politicians who promised to serve us, turned out to have served criminal gangs. Judges who order murders and criminals who become MPs, this is the 'panorama' that our country offers, making citizens have a reason to leave Albania that they first gave independence by driving away evil (the invaders), but let's say that the evil has been between us!
Don't ask how old you are, how healthy you are - Oncology doctors do not share this opinion! As SPAK's investigations proved, the motto of some of the white shirts is: Tell me how much lek you have, I'll tell you what health you will have? While tradition teaches us that Albanians are generous and give what they can to help, the Oncology doctors showed us that not only do they not help according to tradition, but someone's evil can be used for their good, getting rich at the expense of others. the pain of those who give everything in the name of health.
Separation is the best of evils - Some "old" Albanian men should read and understand this popular expression well. Separating may be against the "fictitious traditions" of the traditional Albanian family, but killing the wife or daughter does not belong to any norm or morality related to our identity. In the last 13 years, 159 Albanian women and girls have been killed by family members and partners, or otherwise a gender-based murder every month.
The said and the done are far away - And who better than the Albanians has lived this expression! Want an example? Water and electricity 24 hours! It has been promised since the fall of communism and into the age of digital satellites.
The fool promises and the fool hopes - We have water and lights again!

The same names have our destinies in hand and this is the reason that almost every Albanian brings to attention every time he decides to leave Albania. Albania escaped the invaders, countless wars, enjoyed freedom and did not know how to keep it.
Albania after 112 years Independence and sovereignty hardly resemble the Albania that has been described to us for generations. Faith, family, hospitality or the given word seem to be traditions and popular words that already belong to history. This November 28-29 seems to have been found as a song in the middle of the black chronicle, not evoking enthusiasm at all due to the "frozen smile" from recent developments. Our society is not in its best days, but the Albanians who were able to remove the invaders and who are proud of the nation's values, should be inspired by them to get the society out of the deep 'crisis' it has fallen into.
