The new CDC release comes with good news regarding Covid-19. The new guidelines state that for people who are fully vaccinated, activities such as walking, jogging, cycling, outdoor dinners and small outdoor gatherings - can be done without masks.
However, it is recommended to wear masks in crowded gatherings, even outdoors, especially if the people are not family members.
For states that currently have the obligation to wear the mask, outside and inside, the CDC thinks that fully vaccinated people do not have to wear it unless they are in crowded places such as concerts or stadiums, where it is even more difficult to know who has been vaccinated and who has not yet been vaccinated.
The instruction comes with a color-coded chart showing the activities that fully vaccinated and unvaccinated people can do with or without a mask. The safest activities are those in green. Fully vaccinated people are allowed to:
- Do walking, running, walking, cycling in nature alone or with family members.
- Participate in small outdoor gatherings with fully vaccinated family or friends.
- Participate in small outdoor gatherings with a mixture of humanly vaccinated and unvaccinated.
- Have dinner in an outdoor restaurant with friends, family
