Britney Spears found out she was pregnant with her third child, a few months after she ended custody that among other things had prevented her from having other children and prevented her from getting married.
The singer shared the news in an Instagram post where she said that she had done a pregnancy test after her partner, Sam Asghari, had teased her that she was "pregnant with food". Earlier, Spears said he would have a 28-year-old family.
"I lost so much weight to make my trip to Maui just to regain it. I thought what happened to my stomach? My husband told me, 'you are pregnant with food, stupid'. So I did a pregnancy test and uuhhh well. "I'm pregnant," she said.
During the sessions that ended the custody, Britney Spears stated that she was asked to take the pill so as not to get pregnant, against her will. "I want to be able to get married and have a child," she said. "I was told that in custody I am not able to get married or have a child."
The pop star - who has experienced depression in previous pregnancies - said she "will not go out too far" to avoid media attention.
"It is difficult because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression. I have to say it's absolutely awful. Women did not talk about it at the time. Some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained with a child inside her, but now women talk about it every day. Thank god! We do not have to keep that pain a secret, she said.
She referred to fiancé Sam Asghari as husband, but it is not clear if they are married. Britney has two children, Sean and Jayden, whom she has with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
