Beyoncé has been the victim of a theft, after her staff vehicle was robbed just days before the four-day stop of her "Cowboy Carter" tour. The incident took place in Atlanta, but the situation is made worse by the fact that some unreleased music material was stolen from her.
Authorities confirm that several USBs containing unreleased songs, show plans and set lists for past and upcoming concerts were taken from a rental car used by the singer's choreographer and one of her dancers.
The theft occurred on July 8, just two days before Beyoncé's first performance in Atlanta. Atlanta police say an arrest warrant has been issued, but the suspect's name has not been released.
According to the police report, choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue parked their vehicle and entered a grocery store. When they returned, they found the back window broken and two bags missing.
They reported that the bags contained five USB drives with unreleased songs, script plans for past and future shows, and other song lists, according to police.
A laptop, clothes, and Apple AirPods were also taken. Authorities used tracking devices (laptop and headphone tissues) to track the movements of the objects and get on the trail of the robber.
It is not known whether the stolen items have been returned to the singer.
