Work-life balance: Here's how to be happier

Although we know very well that the success of a happy life lies precisely in finding the perfect balance, still finding the balance between work and life remains a difficult task. What makes the process even more difficult is the environment that surrounds us, which pulls us more and more into its vortex of haste, cutting us off from the small, but most important things in life. What is our duty?

1. Prioritize your time

For the work-life balance process to work, some priorities must be set. Clearly define what is important to you both personally and professionally. Identify the values ??and desires within you and use them as a guide to then follow the decisions you will make. Once you have clear priorities, it will be easier to disconnect from work.

2. Set boundaries!

Setting boundaries is healthy. Communicate the boundaries you set with your colleagues, bosses, friends or even family. This will reduce you a lot of unnecessary conflicts. What does it mean to set boundaries? For example, while you are using your IQOS outside the office if you are a user, or when you are enjoying your morning coffee you will not answer any work-related calls or messages because it is your personal time and everything else comes in second plan.

3. Learn to manage time

Effective time management is essential to a more fulfilling life and the balance we seek. Use calendars, to-do lists and organize your day well. Give up the mania of multi-tasking at the same time. There is time for everything.

4. Learn to delegate tasks

Many people have a hard time delegating tasks thinking that no one will do the job as well as them. In fact, learning to delegate is key to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Trust your colleagues or family members and share tasks. Less stress and more helping others grow and contribute.

5. Disconnect from technology

After business hours are over, don't pick up the phone right away. Go outside, sit somewhere, and while you enjoy your heating device, visualize the things you want most. Using the phone after work will make you more tired and not give you clarity of thought about other issues of the day/life.

6. Learn to say no!

Saying no is a little challenging, especially when you dread the idea of ??letting opportunities go. However, even more harmful is to say yes to things that burden you physically and mentally. For things that are not in your priorities or interests you have to say NO!
