The competition between Top Channel and Tv Klan ended because the latter won strongly.
By 2017, Top Channel was the largest television in the country in terms of revenue and the Klan followed it. This has always been the case.
In 2018, however, Tv Klan reported higher total revenue than Top Channel and more significant growth. During 2018, the turnover of Tv Klan was ALL 1.46 billion with an increase of 12% compared to the previous year.
Top Channel reported revenues of ALL 1.37 billion and an increase of 0.6% compared to the previous year.
Let's talk about profits. Tv Klan earned 1.5m euros in pre-tax revenue during 2018, a slight decrease from 2017. Top Channel quadrupled 2017 earnings and earned only 180,000 euros in 2018. Tv Klan's profit rate is 13.5%, while Top Channel's is 1.6%.
Vizion Plus, third in the list, had a turnover of ALL 435 million, an increase of 8.7% and a profit of EUR 20 thousand during 2018.
