French President Emmanuel Macron promised the reconstruction of the Notre-Dame Cathedral after the terrible fire that he captured yesterday evening.
The firefighters managed to escape two of the 850-year-old cathedral's towers and the rocky structure of the building. According to the BBC, it took a full 9-hour period to put the fire under fire that included a large part of Notre Dame de Paris.
Although the causes of the fire are still unclear, it has been said that there may have been a carelessness of workers as they worked to renovate the building.
During the war with the flames, one of the firefighters got serious injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital.
Macron, on the other hand, has said that "the worst is over" and that they will soon do their utmost to raise international funds, with the sole purpose of bringing Paris and the world to the famous Notre Dame.
So far has been the French billionaire François-Henry Pinault, the executive director of Kering Group, which also owns the famous Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent brands, which has pledged to donate 100m euros to the reconstruction of the cathedral.
