In the starting place for the first time, England, there are 8500 such points, which means 1 lottery for 6500 people. The same thing with Italy, 1 per 4500 inhabitants.
On the other hand, the number of such points is still very high if compared to other countries in the region (Serbia: 1 for 3800 inhabitants, Bosnia and Herzegovina: 1 for 1750 inhabitants, etc.).
3 years ago, Parliament decided to adopt a law to limit the spread of betting points and distance them away from schools and religious sites, but was postponed into force on January 1 year 2019.
