Singer Vedat Ademi was invited to the latest episode of "The Dalina Show" on Andale Media, where he spoke honestly about his possible return to Albania, life between the two countries, and the future of his sons.
During the conversation, he admitted that he often lives between Albania and the United States:
"I spend half the year in Albania, but when I spend long periods I get a little tired. I'm a little ambivalent, but in our frequent conversations we say we'll come back."
Dalina asked him directly if Albania was the right place for little Erenik and “Thunder,” the chicken of Vedat’s sensitive little son, who has a great love for nature and animals. Vedat answered without hesitation:
"No. It's hard for me to say, but no. In the time we're living in, it's pretty difficult for children. Violence is pretty present, if we talk about wanting to go back, my soul sleeps here, I can never become an American or a German, but for the future of the children, there [in the US] is the focus."
Vedati explained that, although he feels Albania is his true home, the social reality and the challenges that children face make it difficult to make a full decision to return permanently.
Vedat Ademi and his wife moved to the United States almost a decade ago after winning the American lottery. There, the couple lives with their two sons, Joni and Erenik.
