Even in such cases, when the country is in total chaos, there is no shortage of people who dare to spread fake news, adding panic to terrified people.
Authorities have handcuffed a 25-year-old girl after allegedly spreading an untrue link to her Facebook account .

The girl named Xhuljana Aliaj, at the top of the published article talking about a "catastrophe in the port of Durres" wrote: "Future" causing citizens to vacate the city even more. This was not the only Aliyah post that aroused panic among the citizens. In another status of her own, she urged people to leave Porto Romano because "gas canisters could explode."

Following the authorities' surveillance of social media, the State Police have arrested the girl, under the charge of "spreading false information that causes panic".
The 25-year-old is not alone in publishing "fake news", as the Counter-Terrorism Directorate in cooperation with other structures have identified other cases being prosecuted.
