As a blessing and a curse, I don't see many posts from Albanian showbiz on social media, but a friend sent me a video from Arbana Osmani's podcast, in which she had invited Zhaklin Lekatarin, Inida Gjata Kruzin (aka) Zhakun and Arjan Konomi, she showed some photos of Albanian VIPs in front of them and they didn't hesitate to be bitter and speak disparagingly about them.
Starting with Egla Ceno, Florjan Binaj, Ori Nebijaj and other people who weren't even present in the studio, Arbana, with an indecipherable smile, continued to show the photos and the guests, continued to speak disparagingly and didn't hesitate to make fun of each other's answers.

For example, about Orin, Inida said: "He has had surgeries," while Arjani said that he is "a bit opportunistic" and emphasized that "when you know him well, 20 opinions come to mind." As for Albana Osmani, Inida did not hesitate to say "hajvan(us)" and further, "burrneshë", referring to the famous debate in Fevziu's studio. As for Egla, Inida emphatically said "complete idiot," while Arjani, who did not know her (ok Mariah Carey).
This, of course, left a very bitter impression on me. From what I read and in the comments, I was not the only one who experienced this feeling! Because first, since when do we bring such a vibe to a podcast, so negative? Second, most importantly: How does Arbana also conceive of this project as a "Big Brother"? With intrigues, insults, somewhat personal attacks and with an approach of superiority towards the "inferiors" that continue to live on in the media.
Arbana, with that smirk of hers, did not react, but rather enjoyed every cynical response, given in a malicious manner and without any salt or sugar, and this is precisely what made me experience a new feeling for her. A transformation, but unfortunately, negative. This regression in my opinion of the moderator has been building for a long time, especially in the interview with Ben Blushi, where a typical "measuring d*cks" challenge was made , but it culminated in this new episode, where public figures were insulted and slandered without any elegance, not even a pin and humor.
That elegance, irony and humor are, at the end of the day, traits of intelligent people and who do not have their comment wrong, but in the case of four people on a podcast that, light years away, broadcasted a godfather's council where everything was talked about except freedom (as Arbana herself said in the teaser). Freedom is not about offending colleagues. It's not even saying what you "think" in the form of an insult, because in this case, a thin line separates sincerity from malice. I'm sorry to admit it, but this podcast reeked of intrigue and malice.
So, I know I'm not an influential person to give advice and I usually don't do something like that, but since we're dealing with a pretty popular podcast and an approach that is served to us on different platforms, I want to say that maybe Arbana should separate her soul from "Big Brother" and continue to stay with her enlightened era, which may coincide with other values ??and concepts, so that the public doesn't forget why they loved her from the beginning.
To be honest, as I write this article as a stream of consciousness, an expression comes to mind that I really like and fear at the same time: "The higher we think we're climbing, the worse we break our ankles." So the public lifts you higher and higher, loves you, admires you, supports you, stands in solidarity with you, but when it gets to the point of your arrogance and lack of empathy and professionalism, it abandons you and gives you a slap so hard that you realize what reality really is.
