Anne Hathaway has decided to be honest and share her experience with abortion in an interview for Vanity Fair, revealing that in 2015, while playing in the theater show "Grounded" where she had to "give birth" every night on stage, she lost the baby.
"The first time it didn't work for me. I was performing a theatrical performance where I had to 'give birth' every night and I lost the baby", revealed the actress, emphasizing that she kept this news secret from the public, but shared it with her friends.
"It was too heavy to carry alone as a burden, especially when I had to go up on stage and act like everything was fine", continues Anne.
Hathaway emphasized that it is very difficult to want something so much and not achieve it, as he remembered the experience as very painful.
The actress has two sons, Jonathan, 8, and Jack, 4, with husband Adam Shulman. She announced that she was pregnant with her second child in 2019, when she also discovered that her pregnancies had been difficult. Anne, at the time, reminded all women who are going through the same situation that they are not alone.
