6 things to remember whenever you are upset and hopeless

We have many reasons to feel sad and hopeless in the times we live in. The bitter truth of modern society is that most people face sadness which they then call "depression". A very fundamental reason for this kind of sadness comes from the fact that we have lost hope and when that happens, everything seems dark and things no longer make sense to you.

What happens on days like these? When do you not find the motivation to function and perform daily tasks? Remember the 6 tips below, whenever you feel hopeless.

1. Understand that things are not as they used to be. Accept this.

You may be sleeping more, realizing that you have no productivity, and getting tired of just doing housework. There is no need to get angry, just admit that things are not as they used to be. 

2. Everything has changed. Nothing has changed!

In life we ??have only 2 choices: To live according to our goals and see the good side of things, or not to live this way. It does not matter how the world changes, how things go, you always have to do what you have to do: the next thing! It is precisely these efforts that will save the world forever.

3. Being aware of something is not the same as giving up. 

Whenever you feel hopeless, anxious and upset, remember that surrender is not the next step. The universe will not know if you make an effort or not, but you do. 

4. Allow yourself to be sad, but do not blame it for that.

They are two different things. Being sad is neither a crime nor a weakness. You have liberated yourself and you have failed nowhere, you just have your reasons for feeling the way you are feeling. So simple. 

5. Think about work, re-imagine, but also work.

Of course in such periods the work does not taste good. Nothing to do and the bed is the favorite place. Only the idea of ??getting back to work saddens you. If so, do something. Do the things you love; start a course, or make a plan for the things you will do when you officially return to work. 

6. Search for comfort and joy

Fantasize and you will find it! Give joy to old songs? Then listen to old songs. Will you see the sunset by the sea? Then go to him and stay for hours until you enjoy it all. Watch a movie you like and get caught up in the little things. There you will find the smile.
