Lexie Alford was 21 years old when she became the youngest person to travel to any state in the world. Now 22, she uses her online platforms and character - Lexie Limitless - to inspire travelers through Instagram, YouTube and the web site.
Originally from California, which she described in an interview with Euronews as "the most different place in the US that she does not replace with anyone" - she lives full time in Los Angeles.
"It was more of a natural evolution. I started traveling when I was really young because my mom has a travel agency, a business she started when she was just 19 years old. As I grew up, she took me with her when she explored, which was a really wonderful thing.
With this lifestyle, it was understandable that by the time I was 18, I had traveled to about 70 countries around the world. But one of my biggest dreams, since I was 12, was that I wanted to try to live for a year of my life without school and without a job. "So I saved a lot of money so I could take the money and travel the world," she told Euronews when asked how the goal of traveling to any country in the world began.
Regarding securing money, she said:
