1. He makes decisions with you in mind.
"He doesn't act like someone who is single," says Lotoya.
In every decision he makes, whether big or small, he consults with you, plans with you, and includes you in every step.
"Even the smallest choices seem to be made with you in mind," she adds.
2. It puts peace over ego
"I won't argue with you about useless things," says Lotoya.
Instead of reacting impulsively, he steps back, reflects, and comes back to you with a clear intention, not to win the argument, but to understand.
A 2024 study found that taking breaks during an argument, whether forced or voluntary, helps reduce tension. So if he takes a moment to calm down before talking to you, don't take it as ignoring him, but as a sign of respect and care.
3. He is emotionally stable
"He doesn't disappear, he doesn't leave you with dilemmas, he doesn't play games," says Lotoya.
When a man is truly involved, the way he talks to you, how he touches you, and how he is present remains the same, even when he has tough days.
According to philosopher Aaron Ben-Zeév, emotional stability is essential in a relationship. When someone is unpredictable or cold at times, it brings anxiety and insecurity. But stability builds trust, and that's what helps a relationship last.
4. He sacrifices for you, but without mentioning it later
"He makes sure you feel good," says Lotoya.
He does everything he can for you and doesn't mention it as a debt.
A 1997 study showed that a willingness to sacrifice in a relationship is linked to a stronger relationship, greater satisfaction, and deeper emotional involvement.
So when a man makes sacrifices for you without remembering everything he did, it's one of the clearest signs of his love.
Sometimes, men show love in ways that aren't vocal or obvious at first. That's why it's so important to know how to read those silent gestures, which often speak louder than words.
