After 22 years since the success of "Freaky Friday," Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are back as mother and daughter in the newest sequel: "Freakir Friday." And as the title suggests, everything is even stranger this time around.
In the newly released trailer, Anna (Lindsay Lohan) is preparing for her wedding, while her mother, Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis), is there to help. But things get complicated when Anna's daughter (Julia Butters) doesn't get along with her future partner's daughter (Sophia Hammons).
Everything takes a magical and chaotic turn when, during a bachelorette party, a fortune teller (Vanessa Bayer) predicts that “there’s still a lot to learn walking each other’s paths.” And yes, another bolt of lightning strikes – the body swap happens again. Only this time, it’s not two, but four people who find themselves trapped in the wrong body.
Anna and her daughter switch bodies with each other, as does Tess and Lily, the other teenage girl. This leads to a series of comical and emotional situations that will test the boundaries of family and understanding between generations.
For more drama? The girls decide to "split the parents" and reunite Anna with her first love - Jake, who will once again be played by Chad Michael Murray, who returns with an epic motorcycle entrance.
